and procedures; performance management and succession planning systems;
compensation & benefits, Affirmative Action, union avoidance, recognition,

Kathleen Dunn
Kathleen has been associated with such noted companies as ITT, General
Instrument, Coltec, Goodrich, Levi Strauss, and Bairnco, as Group
Director of Human Resources for divisions in the US, Mexico, Canada,
and Belgium. These include both union and non union businesses ranging
from electronics to engineering, aerospace, mining, and consumer
products. She has extensive hands on experience in managing all
facets of the HR function for multi-state operations, ranging from
designing benefits and compensation programs to establishing HR
departments, to transforming the culture of organizations. She utilizes
both Organizational Development concepts and traditional approaches
to help businesses align HR strategies with key business initiatives.
She has worked as a shadow consultant to help
key executives develop their leadership skills.
She holds an MBA and a BS in Education from Texas Tech. She speaks
Spanish, is certified in sales compensation, and as a facilitator
for nationally known organization leadership training and
quality improvement programs. Her post-graduate studies include
labor law, compensation & benefits, facilitation, ISO, Statistical
Process Control and TQM, Continuous Improvement, and Six Sigma.
.A former teacher, Kathleen knows how to help adults quickly grasp
and retain information, principles, and skills. As an instructor
for the University of Phoenix, she developed the compensation curriculum
for the HR Certificate Program. Kathleen has earned a reputation
as a outstanding trainer, and is known for her dynamic seminars.
She has conducted numerous training programs, including over 100
workshops to develop managerial communication and leadership skills.

Gene Martinez
Gene knows business. In addition to more than 30 years of Human
Resources experience, Gene has owned and operated his own HR consulting
firm and two different consumer products & services companies.
He's held key HR and Organizational Development positions for General
Electric, Honeywell, Aerojet-General, Eaton and Varian. He has developed
HR programs for companies with multiple U.S. and international operations
including Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, England, and Ireland.
Gene is fluent in Spanish and has extensive maquiladora experience.
He has been an instructor and developer of curriculum for the HR
Certificate Program at the University of Phoenix.
He has created new HR departments and re-focused others; has developed
performance management, succession planning, and compensation systems
as well as union avoidance, recruiting and Positive Employee Relations
Programs. He has been a coach to various company presidents and
other key executives on matters such as organization effectiveness,
restructuring, divestiture and acquisition.
Gene is a native Arizonan, with deep roots in a pioneer family.
He received an A.A. degree in Business from Phoenix College, B.S.
degree in Management from Arizona State University, completed the
Master of Science in Organization Development program at Pepperdine
University and the Executive Development Program at UC Davis.

Patricia Zebuth
Patricia is a results-oriented professional with over thirty years
of HR experience in the manufacturing sector, holding key HR positions
with such companies as Anheuser Busch, Goodrich, Coltec, and Bairnco.
A hands-on problem solver, she has handled complex employee relations
problems and conducted countless investigations, including serious
issues involving employee fraud and discrimination complaints. She
has conducted HR audits to ensure company compliance with legal
requirements.
Patricia has been involved in benefit plan design & changes,
and has dealt with self-funded insurance plans, interfacing with
providers and brokers. Known for building effective business partnerships,
Patricia has developed staffing models and HR project solutions
that identify ways to reduce costs and improve efficiencies, while
ensuring legal compliance. She has designed policies, procedures
and process changes in all areas of Human Resources, including HRIS
and payroll. Her forte is providing timely, expert advice to managers
on employee relations, compensation, benefits, leadership development,
and best practices for the human resource infrastructure.
An alumni of South Coast College in California, Patricia also attended
Golden West College and professional seminars in leadership, managerial
communication, lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma. She utilizes
Lominger tools to assist clients with interviewing, job descriptions,
and performance feedback. Patricia understands the pressures small
business owners face every day. She's walked in their shoes as a
partner in various restaurants, restaurant design, and general construction
businesses.
