The Crystal Ball: Keys to selecting the right candidate
This workshop takes participants through the whole process. They'll learn how to define the key requirements of the job, including interpersonal and self-management aspects of the job. Theyll identify the appropriate salary, selection media and instruments to be used, and how to source applicants. Includes tips for screening resumes and applications, how to get the most from personality inventories and background and reference checks, how to match the person to the job and to the company's culture. Learn how to determine the appropriate salary range, and make an offer that will be accepted. Interviewing is covered in the companion module.

In this workshop, participants learn how to develop interview questions, rate responses, read body language, use effective questioning techniques.. Includes tools for comparing one candidate with another, making effective use of multiple interviewers, selling the candidate on the company.

The prinicples of effective interviewing for companies that use a team approach to interviewing: How to make the most effective use of multiple interviewers, whether in a panel setting or consecutive one-on-ones. In this workshop, participants learn how to develop interview questions, rate responses, read body language, use effective questioning techniques.. Includes tools for comparing one candidate with another, making effective use of multiple interviewers, selling the candidate on the company.
