DYNAMIC COMMUNICATION SERIES
These workshops which enhance managers' communication skills can be presented
as stand-alones or as a series.
Who should attend: Supervisors, managers, and prospective supervisors
and managers.
Time of each workshop: 3½ to 4 hours.
Getting your point across
This workshop reveals proven principles participants can start using
right now, such as how to give employees clear direction, how to anticipate
the listener's unspoken expectations, and how to jointly brainstorm and
solve problems more efficiently.
Mining for information
People are more likely to give you the information you need if you know
how to ask them the right questions. Effective questioning technique is
important whether you are interviewing applicants or generating information
and suggestions from your team. This workshop will improve your facilitation
skills. Topics include questioning technique, open and closed-ended questions,
and listening/responding skills.
Leading Change in Your Organization
Change is a constant in today's business world. Before your organization
can finish getting adjusted to one change, it gets hit with several others.
When change hits, a common response is caution. Faced with the unfamiliar,
surrounded by uncertainty, frequently people tend to gear down. Participants
in this workshop will learn leading edge change management principles
to meet your critical business challenges. They'll be able to help their
people accept, not resist, the predictable dynamics of change.
Building an alliance with your boss
"Managing upward" is as key to career success as managing
downward. How to make sure you and your boss get on the same wave-length,
and in agreement on the priorities-and stay there.
